Video response

It seems "copyright" is something that cause some headaches to many artists, musicians, writers, or more. It is certainly wrong and illegal to use pictures from online, especially if it is for one's own business purpose, for example, Gap or Virgin Mobile as we learned in class on Monday. I believe that every picture belongs to someone, and no one should neglect the "ownership" of photographs, just becuase they are published online.
However I could understand why some people choose to "steal" pictures from online. It's nearly impossible to have my own images of various things, from a car to sea animals. I personally have made a few posters and such, but it is funny to realize the work I have done is not fully mine, since it consists of many differnet photos from online.

I am not sure how to solve this problem though. We did find some cases that other people stealing images, but I have no idea how I would find someone stealing my images. Some say we all should be careful about uploading pictures, but I don't know what that even means, unless we are talking about uploading naked pictures of oneself here. If pictures are online, anyone can literally steal them. I don't know how "being careful" prevents those photos from getting stolen. I probably will continue posting pictures I want to share, but hopefully, my pictures never get stolen, and furthermore we can find a solution for stealing photos and copyrights.
